The BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors qualification enables delegates to apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor licence. 

This course is aimed at any person responsible for security, protection, screening the suitability of people entering premises or dealing with conflict in pubs, clubs and other licensed premises open to the public.

A Door Supervisor licence is also accepted as a Security Guarding licence without the need for further training.

The course instructors are qualified adult teachers as well as experienced door supervisors.

Training is delivered in two parts as follows:
Role and Responsibilities of a Door Supervisor (2 days)
This includes admission policies and procedures, refusing entry, searching, seizing articles, eviction, use of force, offensive weapons, how to comply with the law, how to deal with emergencies, drugs, arrest, scene preservation and report writing.
Communication Skills and Conflict Management (2 days)
This includes candidates managing conflict by applying a practical approach to risk, the importance of self-awareness, acting proactively, teamwork strategies, methods to resolve conflict and learning from conflict.
